Weekly Astrology Forecast — Nov 4, 2019 – Nov 10, 2019:

Forecast

Here is the Ask the Astrologers Weekly Astro Forecast for the week of Nov 4, 2019 – Nov 10, 2019:

This week starts with the Sun trining the Moon’s North Node (and thus automatically trining the South Node) on Monday. This aspect is all about coming to terms with who you are and being more than ok with it. It’s about bringing the lessons of the past (South Node) into harmony with where you are today.

As this is a Water sign trine it may have more to do with feelings and emotions than anything else. It can relate to gaining a better understanding of the inner workings of your own psyche (Scorpio Sun) and healing old wounds and hurts (Cancer Node). As the Nodes are said to be karmic in nature you can make great strides toward clearing up karmic debts during this time.

On Tuesday, Mars squares Pluto while Venus inconjuncts Uranus. This should be a high energy day, but choose what you put your energy into wisely, as the Mars / Pluto square can be aggressive and combative. This is can be a “shoot first and ask questions later” transit. It can manifest as power struggles and hidden resentments that boil the surface when you least expect it. Find a physical outlet for your frustrations if you don’t want them to come at you from the outside. Martial arts is a good option, or any other type of strenuous exercise.

The Venus / Uranus aspect can manifest as feeling alienated or alone — or like the odd man out. But as you shift your energy toward humanitarian goals, you can make a great impact in your community. Use this transit to balance out the part of you that longs to save the world with the part that just wants to belong.

It relays a need to let go of associations that have held you back or prevented you from achieving personal fulfillment in the past. This aspect can put a strain on your love life by pitting your need for freedom and independence against your desire to connect intimately with another. It underscores the potential for missing (or misreading) important social cues. And as with all inconjunct aspects, the key to rebalancing this energy is adjusting your own perceptions and adapting your own approach.

The Moon moves into Pisces early Wednesday morning, first sextiling Uranus and then squaring Venus before the day is through. These are both relatively minor aspects, with the sextile to Uranus making it a little easier to expand your awareness and the square to Venus indicating a potential for laying the sweetness, kindness and benevolence on a bit thick.

Lunar transits are always fleeting (each lasting little more than a few hours at a time), and therefore unlikely to produce events. These are more tied to ambiance and mood than anything else.

Meanwhile Mercury is still retrograde and by Thursday it’s started moving again (having passed the bounds of its stationary point) and is slowing moving backwards through the later degrees of Scorpio. It’s disposited by Mars, which is still in detriment in Libra, so if anything the minor irritations that are a normal part of Mercury retrograde may be more pronounced.

The Moon is still in Pisces, but now it’s trining the Sun and North Node (forming a loose grand water trine) and then trining Mercury and squaring Jupiter before the day is through. In general the Pisces Moon is loving, compassionate, creative and highly impressionable. It can increase psychic awareness and make you more susceptible to outside influences. It’s mystical and ethereal, but can also be incredibly naive. It’s not good at filtering out negative or harmful information, and can therefore be easily deceived.

Friday’s Solar transits are both favorable, with the Sun trining Neptune and sextiling Saturn. The trine to Neptune is idealistic and imaginative, while the sextile emphasizes logic, discipline and good old fashioned common sense. While Saturn transits relate more to practical matters and mundane concerns, the Sun / Neptune aspect increases your sensitivity to outside influences and leave you feeling more susceptible to psychic impressions.

These transits can help you wind down work week on a mellow note; so mellow in fact that you may decide to stay in for the weekend rather than venturing out. It’s a good time to pay attention to your dreams, meditate, get in touch with your creativity and heed your inner voice.

This mellow energy continues into Saturday with a sextile between Saturn and Neptune. Both of these planets lean toward pensiveness and melancholy, so even with this relatively benign aspect (and the fact that both planets are dignified by sign), we might experience a period of wistful reminiscing and longing for the past.

Saturn and Neptune work well together when involved in harmonious aspect — like the 60o sextile. They can be meditative and reflective, although not necessarily inspired. It’s going to be important to look at the glass as half full rather than half empty during this time, and to find something motivates us toward action. Otherwise the potential for wallowing in misery is strong.

We end the week on Sunday with Mercury sextiling Pluto. This a recurrence of the same transit a couple weeks ago, before Mercury went retrograde. It will do the same in a few weeks — on December 3rd — once Mercury goes direct. This transit is big on deep thoughts and penetrating insights, and not so big on idle chit chat.

While Pluto is generally reflective and introspective rather than overtly expressive, you don’t want to keep these ideas to yourself. The sextile speaks of joining hands with others, and sharing information that causes you to stop and think.

That’s it for this week. See you next week!
